UK Cast Stone Factory.

Shepton Classic Stone became a one-man stone factory in the last recession, when the world economy and sales of many products, including cast-stone became very unpredictable.

I decided that the safest thing to do would be to downsize and thereby cut costs / overheads, which would mean prices could be reduced on my cast-stone products in order to increase sales in what was now a very slow market.

It is clear that as a one-man business I am not able to produce as many cast-stone items, (handmade dry-cast-stone) as before when I employed workers to manufacture my products.

To this day the cast-stone market has still seemed to be up and down and, unpredictable so, being a one-man stone factory has turned out to be a safe bet.
